Top Image Collection Saskatchewan Archives Board—Métis Photographs

In 2004, the Saskatchewan Archives Board (SAB) and the Gabriel Dumont Institute (GDI) entered into a partnership to showcase the SAB's large, varied and little-known Métis-specific image collection on The Virtual Museum of Métis History and Culture. All SAB images that appear on this website are for reference purposes only and may not be used for any other purpose without the SAB's express written permission. All images that have a reference number beginning with "S" such as S B 1015 are held in the Saskatoon office, while all images with a reference number starting with "R" such as R-A3955 are held in the Regina office. When inquiring about an image, to order photograph reproductions or to request permission, please direct your inquiry to the appropriate SAB office. All inquiries should be directed to:
