Photograph of R. Delaronde (L-106008) and Stanley Landry (L-106133)posed outdoors in the snow, in military uniform. Stanley was born on January 23, 1923 and enlisted in June, 1943 in Regina. He took his basic training at Maple Creek, Saskatchewan and his advanced training at Camp Shilo, Manitoba. He served with Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry and was killed in action December 12, 1944. A cutout of a face has been pasted onto the face of the man on the right hand side of the photograph. |
