Description: Mable was interviewed on March 29, 1984 in Cando, Saskatchewan. Mable comes from a family of nine and she describes the house she lived in when she was growing up. Her family was close and they often went camping and berry picking together. She discusses the chores and jobs her family did on a daily basis to care for themselves and to provide an income. Mable discusses the many jobs she had but how she always preferred outside work over housework. She also discusses languages, social life, clothing, music and politics.
