Description: Clementine was interviewed on June 22, 1999. Clementine was born March 25, 1922 in Crooked Lake, Saskatchewan and she gives a brief introduction of herself. She was one of twelve children and her family used to pick berries, fish and hunt for food. Clementine married a Métis man and they had five children of their own. She never had doctors around during any of her childbirths and she talks about traditional medicines that the Métis used. She also discusses the roles of each of her family members, social life, and the Michif language.
