Description: Owen was interviewed on March 8, 1993. Owen’s wife Margaret is also present during this interview. Owen begins his interview with a brief family introduction stating when and where he was born. He then discusses where, why and when he enlisted as well as when he was injured during WWI. Owen and Margaret discuss how much of a veteran’s pension that Owen received once he was discharged from the war. Margaret shares her views on the pension they get and how money is used nowadays compared to during the war. When Owen returned from the war he started farming and currently, with his wife, lives and manages the same farm. Margaret discusses family life including her parents and when her and Owen got married and the names and occupations of their two children.
