Description: Leon was interviewed on February 25, 1993. Like many of the Métis veterans, Leon joined the army because the rest of the guys were going. Leon discusses where he received his basic training when he joined WWII and where he received his training when he joined the Korean War. He also discusses his feelings after WWII ended. Leon shares his stories of the voyage over to Korea and other Métis veterans who fought in the Korean War, WWI, and WWII. He also discusses what his jobs were after the wars were over. During this interview Leon describes in detail, pictures that he is showing to Dave.
