Description: Edward King was interviewed on January 27, 1993. Edward discusses when and where he enlisted to go to war. Throughout this interview, Edward has detailed discussions of some of the friends that went to war with him as well as friends he made in the army. Some of these men include Jimmy Ross, Emil Ross, Joe Lavalley, John Sanigrad, Stanley Landrey, Ray Deleronde, Edgar Holt and others. During this interview, Edward also compares the roles of women back home to some of the women he met in various countries.
